We use only the aggregate information kept by the server's log to track server usage, diagnose server problems and to administer our web site.  We do not track individual IP addresses.  If criminal activity is detected or suspected, we will notify the server administrator and/or the appropriate authorities.

Our site's forms require users to give us contact information (generally email address and name only) in order for us to contact you - this information is retained within VicTech Software and is not revealed to third parties. 

Once you have contacted us with a problem relating to our software and in order to troubleshoot that software, we may ask for your computer's configuration information, this information is kept private and never revealed to any third party and is generally deleted after the problem has been resolved.

Our site does not use cookies. We do not have access to any information about you from cookies you might receive while visiting our site.

Security of Forms and Email

All information taken by the forms (with the exception of the public message board/forum forms) is immediately sent by email to victech@victechsoftware.com so that we may respond to your inquiry, no data is maintained on the server with the exception of the public message boards/forums.  We are not responsible for nor do we have control over anything that happens to the email while it is on the way to our computers - data corruption, reading of the emails, etcetera. 

Choice/Opt-Out

Our site will never send unsolicited electronic or physical mail based on information received from the users through any page on this site.

Registration of Software

Some of our programs may be registered by users by purchasing a license or licenses.  Our third-party registration service (Reg.Net) passes on all information the user provides to them with the exception of credit card data to us.  We will retain this information for an indefinite period of time so that we may know who our registered users are.  This information will not be disclosed without your consent, it is for internal use only.  Generally, you will not receive email from us unless there is information which requires the registered users to be notified (including but not limited to the fact that their license key is invalid with a new version and a new key is being sent out.)  Our registration service (Reg.Net) provides an update notification service, please note that what our registration service (Reg.Net) does is governed by their privacy policy and not ours.  We are not responsible for the privacy policy of our registration service (Reg.Net).  We are not responsible for any use of your data by the registration service (Reg.Net).
